Coverage & Terms

Warranty Policy

Santo Inacio Trailers is committed to providing quality trailers and transparent warranty information. This policy outlines the structural coverage, operational limitations, and ownership responsibilities related to your equipment.

Manufacturer Warranty

Most trailers sold by Santo Inacio Trailers are covered directly by a manufacturer’s warranty. Specific terms, coverage periods, and conditions vary depending on the individual manufacturer and trailer model.

Manufacturer warranties typically cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance. Coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper loading, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.

All manufacturer warranty claims are subject to the processing terms and structural procedures established by the issuing manufacturer.

Dealer Warranty

Unless expressly stated in writing, Santo Inacio Trailers does not provide an independent dealer warranty beyond the factory manufacturer’s warranty. Any additional coverage, if offered, will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage explicitly excludes, but is not limited to, the following items:

  • Normal Wear Components: Tires, brakes, lights, wiring connections, and wheel bearings.
  • Operational Stress: Damage resulting from overloading payload capacities or improper towing setups.
  • Cosmetic Degradation: Structural paint finish, powder coating, or natural surface corrosion.
  • Unauthorized Work: Alterations, structural changes, or repairs performed by unauthorized service providers.
  • Neglect: Direct failure to perform routine, factory-recommended equipment maintenance.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain absolute warranty eligibility over the lifetime of your coverage, you are responsible for:

  • Proper use and safe operational handling of the trailer unit.
  • Following all manufacturer-recommended service intervals and schedules.
  • Retaining original proof of purchase and physical warranty documentation.
  • Promptly reporting structural defects or operational issues immediately upon discovery.

Failure to meet these standard operational responsibilities may result in the direct denial of warranty coverage by the manufacturer.

Warranty Claims Process

To initiate a formal warranty claim, please follow these standardized steps:

  • Contact the manufacturer directly or follow the specific warranty claim instructions provided at your point of purchase.
  • Provide all required documentation, including your original bill of sale, VIN number, and comprehensive details or photos of the issue.

While Santo Inacio Trailers will gladly assist with warranty-related guidance and service documentation, we are not responsible for final claim approval decisions made by third-party manufacturers.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Santo Inacio Trailers shall not be liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from warranty claims. This includes, without limitation, loss of equipment use, operational downtime, commercial rental alternatives, towing costs, or associated economic expenses.

No Other Warranties

Except as expressly stated herein or provided directly by the equipment manufacturer, Santo Inacio Trailers disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a specific operational purpose.
